Surah Sad · Sad38:3
كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٖ 3
How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape.
